Universal Densah Bur Kit

Titanium nitride-coated densifying bur kit with graduated sizes for controlled osteotomy expansion and bone compaction.

Key Features:
• 12 Densah burs (2.0–5.5 mm) plus pilot bur and 2 parallel pins
• Titanium nitride coating for increased hardness and reduced friction
• Reverse-cutting spiral flutes for bone densification and lateral expansion
• ISO latch-type shank compatible with standard handpieces
• Operates in reverse at 800–1,500 RPM with irrigation
• Red rubber bur holders with organized, size-indexed layout
• Supplied in hard-shell case with printed depth reference chart
• Fully autoclavable up to 134°C with coating integrity maintained

The Universal Densah Bur Kit (Article # LS9-388) contains stainless steel burs with titanium nitride coating, delivering a gold-toned finish across all working ends. The kit includes 12 graduated Densah Burs ranging from 2.0 mm to 5.5 mm in diameter; sizes 2.0, 2.3, 2.5, 3.0, 3.3, 3.5, 4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 5.0, 5.3, and 5.5 mm, alongside one pilot bur and two parallel pins. Each bur features reverse-cutting spiral flute geometry and fits standard low-speed and high-speed handpieces via an ISO-standard latch-type shank.

All burs seat into individual red rubber holders within a hard-shell, blue-lidded storage case marked with a printed depth reference chart. The tray layout allows organized access to each size during a procedure. The titanium nitride coating increases surface hardness and reduces frictional heat generation. All components within these Densah Bur Kits are compatible with autoclave sterilization at standard 134°C cycles, and the coated surfaces maintain integrity across repeated sterilization rounds without flaking or dimensional change.

The Total Universal Densah® Bur Kit is used in implant dentistry by oral surgeons and implantologists during osteotomy site preparation. The burs rotate in reverse at 800–1,500 RPM with irrigation, compacting and expanding the alveolar bone laterally rather than removing it. The pilot bur establishes the initial axis, and the parallel pins confirm angulation before sequential stepping through larger bur diameters, progressively densifying the bone to the final implant diameter.

Leader Surgical supplies this kit with the kind of careful curation that dental implant teams genuinely rely on, every size accounted for, every component purposefully included, and the whole system backed by a brand that oral surgeons across the world have learned to trust for consistency and clinical accuracy.

What are the equipment requirements?
You can use any standard surgical drill motor and handpiece that can operate in both clockwise (CW) and counter-clockwise (CCW) directions. It must be capable of at least 1200 RPM and a torque of 5–50 Ncm in both directions.
