Endo Finger Ruler Span Measure Scale White
Clip-on endodontic measuring ruler designed for precise working length calibration during chairside root canal procedures.
Key Features:
• Constructed from stainless steel in a fully integrated autoclavable assembly
• Measurement scale ranges from 0–38mm with 0.5mm and 1mm graduations
• Horizontal ruler plate positions scale directly within operator sightline
• Curved spring-clip arm mounts securely on multiple finger sizes
• Clip-on design allows quick attachment and removal during procedures
• Extended 38mm scale supports measurement of longer molar root canals
• Laser-etched markings provide durable and accurate scale readability
• Fully autoclavable at 134°C without dimensional distortion
Endo Finger Ruler Span Measure Scale white
The Endo Finger Ruler Span Measure Scale White consists of two integrated components; a wide horizontal stainless steel ruler plate and a curved spring-clip arm, joined into a single autoclavable assembly. The ruler plate sits perpendicular to the finger axis, positioning the millimeter scale face upward toward the clinician’s direct line of sight during active file measurement. The scale runs from 0 to 38mm with 0.5mm and 1mm interval gradations laser-etched across the full face. The “Endodontic-Ruler” label is engraved into the plate surface.
Unlike compact block-style rulers that thread onto the finger through an oval aperture, this instrument clips directly onto the finger via the curved spring arm, no threading required. The spring clip accepts all finger widths and holds the ruler plate in a fixed horizontal position without movement during file manipulation. This clip-on design allows the clinician to mount and remove the ruler mid-procedure without setting down instruments or removing gloves.
The Endo Finger Ruler-Measuring Scale spring-clip format covers an 8mm longer range than standard 30mm block rulers, reaching 38mm to accommodate longer molar root canals where compressed block scales fall short of the working length. The stainless-steel body and spring-clip arm are fully autoclavable at 134°C without dimensional change.
Endodontists use the Endo Finger Ruler Span Measure Scale white during root canal treatment to verify K-file and rotary NiTi file working lengths against rubber stop positions before each canal instrumentation sequence. Leader Surgical produces this instrument with verified scale-graduation accuracy across the full 0–38mm range and consistent spring-clip tension, ensuring stable ruler positioning and legible markings throughout its full clinical service life. The finger ruler endo spring-clip format keeps the scale continuously accessible on the operating hand without occupying tray space.
How does the finger-ring design benefit the clinician?
The adjustable or fixed ring allows the ruler to sit securely on the finger (usually the index finger), bringing the measurement scale into the active working field. This eliminates the need to reach for a separate Endodontic Measuring Block during a procedure.
