Dental Implant Surgery Process Kit (Titanium Coated)

The Dental Implant Surgery Process Kit (Titanium Coated) comprises seven double-ended instruments, each constructed from surgical-grade stainless steel with blue titanium nitride-coated working ends and knurled cylindrical handles for rotational fingertip control. The titanium implant instrument kit includes the Graft Packer Short Flexible Straight with serrated 3mm/4mm tips, the Graft Packer Long with smooth 3.3/4.0mm tips in five graduated depths (8, 11, 13, 15, 18mm), the Buser Periosteal Elevator with flat tip, the Kirkland Periodontal Chisel 13KL/LR with 3.0/5.0mm curved working ends, the Rhodes Back-Action Chisel 36/37, the Prichard Pr3 Periosteal Elevator, and the Bone Graft instrument with 3.3/4.0mm titanium-coated tips.

The titanium nitride coating on all working ends significantly increases surface hardness, reduces friction against bone and soft tissue, and extends edge retention beyond standard stainless steel alone. This bone graft packer set withstands repeated steam autoclave sterilization at 134°C and remains fully compatible with chemical vapor and ethylene oxide sterilization methods. All seven instruments share identical handle geometry, allowing surgeons to transition between instruments without grip adjustment during the procedure.

Oral surgeons and implantologists use this periodontal surgical kit across the full dental implant placement sequence. The Buser and Prichard elevators reflect mucoperiosteal flaps; the Kirkland and Rhodes chisels recontour alveolar bone; the short flexible graft packer condenses particulate graft material into extraction sockets; the long graft packer reaches deep implant osteotomy sites at calibrated depths; and the bone graft instrument transfers and places final graft material at the implant interface.

From tissue reflection through bone grafting to final graft condensation, Leader Surgical has assembled this kit with the kind of instrument-to-instrument consistency that oral surgeons genuinely value, each piece performing its role without compromise at any stage of the procedure.

What are titanium implants coated with?
Titanium (Ti) implants are commonly coated with hydroxyapatite (HA). However, HA has some disadvantages such as brittleness, low tensile strength and fracture toughness.
