cassette partition racks (8 and 16pcs)

Wire-frame dividers for organizing instruments inside sterilization cassettes.

Key Features:
• Open-frame U-profile design creates individual instrument bays
• Available in 16-piece stainless steel and 8-piece lightweight aluminum variants
• Hook-ended frame anchors securely into cassette side rails
• Serrated edges grip instruments and prevent rolling or contact
• Maintains separation to reduce tip damage and surface wear
• Open wire construction allows full steam and chemical penetration
• Fully autoclavable at 134°C without distortion or corrosion (SS variant)
• Lightweight structure adds minimal load to cassette trays
• Compatible with standard rectangular sterilization cassettes
• Ideal for organizing scalers, probes, forceps, and surgical tools

The Cassette Partition Racks (8 and 16pcs) are open-frame, U-profile wire dividers designed to slot inside sterilization cassette trays and create individual instrument bays. The LS11-313 variant holds 16 pieces and is constructed from medical-grade stainless steel, giving it full resistance to repeated steam autoclave cycles at 134°C without dimensional distortion. The LS11-314 A holds 8 pieces and is built from lightweight aluminium, reducing overall tray weight in compact cassette setups. Both variants share the same stepped, hook-ended frame profile visible in the image — the bent ends anchor securely into the cassette tray side rails, keeping each partition upright and evenly spaced during sterilization and transport.

Each partition frame carries a serrated or ridged outer edge that grips instrument handles and shanks, stopping them from rolling or contacting adjacent tools. This separation prevents metal-on-metal contact, which is a leading cause of tip damage and surface pitting on fine surgical instruments. The open wire construction allows unrestricted steam or chemical sterilant flow around every instrument surface during the autoclave cycle. Unlike full divider plates, the wire frame profile adds virtually no extra weight to the tray assembly. The Cassette Rack design is compatible with standard rectangular sterilization cassettes used across dental and surgical setups.

Dental surgeons and oral surgeons use the Cassette Partition Racks (8 and 16pcs) to organize scalers, probes, elevators, and extraction forceps inside Dental Cassette Instruments trays before and during autoclave sterilization. The 16-piece stainless steel variant suits high-volume general dental clinics running full extraction or periodontal sets, while the 8-piece aluminum variant fits compact cassettes used in minor oral surgery setups.

Leader Surgical delivers both variants with consistent frame geometry and material integrity — giving sterile processing teams a reliable, long-service partition solution that performs through hundreds of autoclave cycles without bending or corrosion.

What are the standard slot dimensions?
Most racks feature slots measuring approximately 4.4 inches wide by 0.7 to 0.8 inches high. For example, the Waratah Designs Cassette Tape Storage Rack uses slots that are 4.4″ W x 0.74″ H x 2.7″ D.
