The Carl Martin Medical Vessel is available in two size variants: Article# LS11-183 measuring 80×35 mm and Article# LS11-184 measuring 125×60 mm. Both are constructed from medical-grade stainless steel using a seamless single-piece formation, removing any internal joints where fluid or biological material could accumulate. The smaller variant carries a shallow, wide-mouth bowl profile, while the larger adopts a taller, tapered cup-form with a broader base footprint. Each interior wall features embossed graduated measurement markings — the 80×35 mm model marked at 5, 20, and 25 ml increments, and the 125×60 mm model marked at 30, 40, and 50 ml — allowing direct volume monitoring without additional measuring tools.

The outer surface on both carl martin instruments carries a mirror-polished finish, while the interior remains brushed for better marking visibility. The rolled top rim on each variant adds structural strength and prevents deformation during repeated autoclaving. Both bowls sit flat without wobbling due to their wide, stable base geometry. No external handles or spouts are present, keeping the footprint compact on sterile instrument trays.

Scrub nurses and surgical assistants use the Carl Martin Medical Vessel across a broad range of procedures including general surgery, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery. The smaller bowl holds antiseptic solutions like povidone-iodine or saline for localized skin preparation, while the Medical Glass – CARL MARTIN larger variant collects irrigation fluids or stores medication doses during active operative phases. Anesthesiologists also use the larger cup-form vessel for measuring and holding drug dilutions at the operative field.

Leader Surgical produces both variants with consistent wall thickness and dimensional accuracy, ensuring each vessel stacks compactly in sterilization trays and performs reliably across high-frequency clinical and operating room environments.
