BONE INJECTORS
Bone Injectors are manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel, available in four cannulated shaft sizes: 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm, and 6.0mm internal diameters, with corresponding outer diameters of 3.5mm, 4.5mm, 5.5mm, and 7.0mm respectively. Each instrument measures 18cm in overall length with a straight-to-curved shaft configuration. The proximal end features two finger rings for stable two-handed grip, while the distal open circular tip functions as the delivery working end.
The curved shaft geometry allows angled access into target bone sites without obstructing the surgical field. Each bone cement injector instrument is fully autoclavable at 134°C, maintaining structural integrity and dimensional accuracy through repeated sterilization cycles. The stainless-steel construction resists oxidation, corrosion, and surface fatigue, while the smooth internal cannula bore prevents material clogging during injection delivery under clinical operating conditions.
Bone Injectors are used by orthopedic surgeons during vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and metaphyseal bone defect repair procedures. The surgeon selects the appropriate diameter based on target site access requirements, inserts the curved cannulated shaft toward the prepared bone cavity, and delivers bone cement or graft material through the open working tip. The ring handle allows controlled two-finger depression force throughout the injection process.
Leader Surgical earns its place in orthopedic operating rooms by producing instruments built to exact dimensional tolerances that surgeons depend on when working inside bone structures. This bone injector set demonstrates the brand’s understanding that size variety and consistent cannula geometry are not optional features, they are fundamental clinical requirements.
