The Tissue Punch Straight & Curved family comprises 12 instruments across two series. The straight series (LS9-278 to LS9-283) features a cylindrical body with a multi-ring ribbed handle and a hollow circular cutting tip at the working end. The curved series (LS9-284 to LS9-289) shares the same handle geometry but incorporates a 90° offset angled neck before the cutting tip. Both series are machined from surgical-grade stainless steel and are available in six matching diameters: 2.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 7.0mm, and 8.0mm.

The multi-ring ribbed handle provides a secure rotational grip during hand-operated tissue excision, preventing axial slippage under applied pressure. Each cutting tip carries a sharpened hollow circular blade that produces clean, full-thickness circular incisions through gingival tissue in a single controlled motion. As a complete Implant Tissue Punch range, the family addresses every clinical platform size from narrow-diameter systems at 2.0mm through wide-platform implants at 8.0mm. All instruments are autoclavable at 134°C and compatible with ultrasonic bath cleaning using neutral-pH detergents.

Implantologists, oral surgeons, and periodontists deploy this gingival punch dental implant instrument family during flapless implant placement and second-stage surgery. The clinician selects the diameter matching the implant platform, positions the tip over the implant site, and applies gentle rotational pressure to excise a precise circular disc of gingival tissue. This healing abutment punch tool eliminates the need for flap elevation in suitable cases, reducing surgical trauma, minimizing intraoperative bleeding, and allowing immediate healing abutment connection at the same appointment.

Every size, every angulation, every platform dimension, Leader Surgical makes sure clinicians never have to compromise on which instrument they reach for. This complete family reflects a straightforward commitment: the right tool, in the right form, for every clinical scenario.

When is a Curved (Offset) Tissue Punch better?
Curved designs are ideal for posterior teeth or tight anatomical spaces where a straight handle would block your line of sight. The offset handle keeps your hand out of the field of view, allowing for better precision in deep or angled areas.
