The Endodontic Tray is a two-piece anodized aluminium instrument organizer measuring 257 × 116 × 16mm for the tray base and 284 × 187 × 16mm for the matching flat solid lid. The tray base carries a full grid of fixed internal dividers running across its entire length, creating multiple narrow rectangular slots that hold endodontic files, K-files, reamers, and Hedström files upright and individually separated. The anodized aluminium body is noticeably lighter than stainless steel, reducing hand fatigue during chairside setup and transport. The 16mm shallow depth keeps all instrument handles at a uniform height, allowing instant visual identification of file sizes without lifting or rearranging.

The slot grid prevents file tips from contacting each other during sterilization and storage, protecting their cutting flutes from tip damage that occurs when instruments roll freely inside standard flat trays. The Aluminium endodontic box format is specifically sized to fit inside most tabletop autoclave chambers used in dental clinics, and the anodized surface withstands repeated steam sterilization cycles without surface oxidation, pitting, or color change. The flat solid lid protects slotted contents from contamination during transport between the sterilization area and the treatment room.

Endodontists and general dentists use the Endodontic Tray as a Tray Mini Aluminum Silver – Lid organizer during root canal therapy, pulpotomy, and apicectomy procedures. The slot layout lets the dental nurse arrange files in sequential size order — from size 08 to 40 — so the endodontist can select the next file in sequence without interrupting the working field or requesting file hand-offs mid-procedure.

Leader Surgical produces this tray and lid to consistent slot spacing and anodized surface standards — ensuring every file seats securely, the lid fits flush, and the assembly performs reliably through repeated autoclave cycles.

How do the lids work?
Most lids are designed for secure containment during transport. Some models feature a slide-lock mechanism or a transparent “dust cover” to isolate instruments from dirt.
