Scalers Trays

Shallow stainless-steel tray with ribbed base for organized, non-contact placement of dental instruments.

Key Features:
• Three sizes: 205×115×17 mm, 205×152×17 mm, 290×115×17 mm
• Raised longitudinal ribs create separate channels for each instrument
• Four corner bosses elevate instruments above tray surface
• Shallow 17 mm depth keeps instruments fully visible and accessible
• Mirror-polished stainless steel supports easy cleaning and inspection
• Solid base prevents fluid leakage during use
• Rolled edges ensure safe handling without sharp contact points
• Suitable for scalers, curettes, probes, and periodontal instruments

The Scalers Trays are offered in three size configurations: 205×115×17 mm (Article# LS11-002), 205×152×17 mm (Article# LS11-003), and 290×115×17 mm (Article# LS11-004). What immediately distinguishes this tray from standard flat-base instrument trays is the raised longitudinal ribbing running across the full interior base surface — seven parallel ridges that create individual instrument channels, keeping each scaler, curette, or probe separated and stationary during chairside use. Four raised circular bosses sit at each corner of the interior base, functioning as additional instrument rests that elevate handles slightly above the tray floor. The entire tray body is formed from medical-grade stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish on both interior and exterior surfaces.

The dental instruments scalers tray 17 mm wall depth is deliberately minimal, shallow enough to keep all instruments fully visible and reachable in a single motion, yet sufficient to prevent instruments rolling off the tray surface during active clinical use. The 205×115 mm variant suits single-operator setups with a focused instrument selection, the 205×152 mm version adds lateral width for a broader instrument spread, and the scaler tray 290×115 mm configuration extends length to accommodate longer-handled ultrasonic scalers and periodontal instruments without overhang.

Dental hygienists, periodontists, and general dentists rely on the Scalers Trays as the primary chairside instrument organization surface during scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance appointments, and full-mouth debridement sessions. The ribbed base channels keep instruments from contact with each other between use, reducing cross-contamination risk and preventing tip damage from instrument-to-instrument collision on the tray surface during procedures.

Uniform rib spacing, consistent mirror finish, and identical 17 mm wall depth across all three variants, Leader Surgical applies the same production standard to every size, so dental teams get predictable, reliable chairside performance regardless of which configuration they select.

How many instruments can a standard tray hold?
Most standard-sized trays (approx. 8″ x 4.5″) feature indents to securely hold up to 7 hand instruments individually to prevent them from rolling.
